What can be done to correct a drainage problem in my driveway?
When it rains, water should be able to run off your driveway. The best way to achieve this is by grading your driveway with a 2% grade or a ¼” decline for every foot of pavement. Many driveways don’t have enough slope and water pools on them after a rainstorm. There are several solutions to this problem including curbs, swales, and drains. How Long Do Asphalt Driveways Last?
Asphalt driveways can last a long time, but you will need to take care of them. In the best-case scenario with proper care and maintenance, expect an asphalt paving to last up to 30 years.
What is the difference between resurfacing and seal coating?
Resurfacing is a more expensive but more effective way to repair your driveway. Resurfacing includes patching and resurfacing of the entire surface with a new overlay of hot asphalt.
